To provide the Kitly utility services, we collect the following information:
- Account Information: Your username and email address used for authentication.
- Social Identifiers: If you use Google, Facebook, or X to log in, we store the unique ID provided by those services to link your account.
- Utility Data: Content you explicitly save, such as URLs, site names, and descriptions in the Link Saver tool.
2. How We Store Data
Your data is stored securely in an encrypted environment. We use industry-standard practices to ensure your "Kit" remains private:
Kitly utilizes SQLite for data persistence and ASP.NET Core Identity for secure credential management. We do not store plain-text passwords; all passwords are salted and hashed.
3. Third-Party Services
We do not sell your data. We only interact with third parties in the following scenarios:
- Authentication: We use Google, Facebook, and X (Twitter) APIs solely to verify your identity during the login process.
- Analytics: We may use basic telemetry to understand tool usage, but this data is anonymized.
4. Your Rights (Ownership)
We believe in full data portability. As a Kitly user, you have the following controls available in your Account Settings:
Export
Download a full JSON archive of all data associated with your account at any time.
Delete
Permanently remove your account and all associated utility data from our servers.
5. Corporate Identity & Jurisdiction
This website and the Kitly suite of tools are owned and managed by:

Registered Company in the Republic of South Africa.
All data processing is governed by the relevant laws of South Africa, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
